Hooch was born on or around the 1st of October 1995. He came to live with us in January 1997, by this time he
had already had two previous owners (the people we got him off were emigrating)
It didn't take Hooch long to settle
in, and now he has a routine of sleeping (on my bed if he thinks he can get away with it!) running in the park with my cousins
dog Molly, playing tugger in the garden with mummy, walkies, eating & cuddling up with us on the sofa.
Did I mention
that he likes to sleep in front of the fire?
We have had him for ten years now & sometimes we wonder how
we ever managed without him in our lives.
He is the sweetest most loving dog I could ever have, and everyone loves him.
He is great with children all my young nieces & nephews love him and Hooch is in his element when they come to visit.
I think we are very lucky to have him.
Over the past two years Hooch has had a lot of problems with his joints. He has become a popular fixture
at the vet's and he loves going to see Irene our vet. Thankfully his condition has stabilised but unfortunately not cured
& he will be on medication for the rest of his life.
As Hooch enters his ninth year we all hope he will stay healthy, happy & pain free.
Hooch & I hope you enjoy this site & we hope we will see you again soon.
